The Atrium is managed and catered exclusively by Victoria Food Service, owned by Sam and Trudy Hedges since July 2010. Victoria Food Service go all-out to impress both you and your guests with zesty fare and deliciously different menus for corporate events and private functions, gala dinners and cocktail parties, to weddings and celebrations of every kind. Thier stunning menu selections let you choose the most delicious, contemporary dishes for your event, or, they can design a one-off menu infused with all the flavours you love. Claire Summers

Director, General Manager

Originally from Christchurch, Claire and her English husband Andrew are the proud owners of Victoria Food Service. With a long history in hospitality, Claire and Andrew returned to Christchurch after 19 years abroad, owning and managing various hotels, bars and restaurants in England. Claire has a real passion for sales and client satisfaction, leading from the top. In her spare time you’ll find her playing tennis and socialising with friends and family, while raising two beautiful children.

Todd Henderson

Head Chef

Todd has worked in hospitality since the age of 17, developing a true passion for food. Todd show-cases flavour, striving for excellence in presentation – this is evident in anything he puts his hands to. Todd has a great sense of humour and is well respected by our team, you’ll often hear him laughing and singing in the kitchen. Outside of work you’ll find Todd experimenting with new recipes for his wife and children, and sampling the new food trends Christchurch has to offer.

Mirelle Liang

Operations Manager

With over 15 years’ experience in hospitality, Mirelle is the newest addition to the Victoria Food Service family. Originally from the happening city of Mumbai, India, she has lived in New Zealand for nearly 12 years. Her past work experiences include working at hotels in Mumbai, Dubai, Hanmer Springs and Christchurch. An avid dog fan, Mirelle enjoys spending time with her daughter playing board games and watching movies on Netflix, as well as catching up with friends over a good home-cooked meal.

Violeta Owczarek

Event Manager

Violeta has over 10 years of hospitality and management experience, previously working as a Function Manager for Victoria Food Service managing the logistics and service side of each event. Violeta moved to New Zealand in 2015 after working as a Marketing and Function Manager in Germany. No event is too big or small for Violeta ensuring every event is a smooth and seamless experience. Outside of work you’ll find Violeta sailing, running, salsa dancing and travelling around New Zealand.

Gael Hayward

Business Development Manager

With a background in sales and marketing, Gael is the first point of contact for our brides and event organisers. Her years of experience in varied work environments have proven her ability to multi-task and use initiative in high pressure situations. Gael has a real passion for food and has sampled many different cuisines on her travels around the world. Outside of work you’ll find her at food markets and cooking for her family and friends.
